RC International School is a small school on Ruamrudee Soi 1 in Bangkok's Ploenchit area, founded in 1998 and run ever since by director Chutamas Pattharamalai, now more than 27 years in post. Around 150 pupils aged 2–12, drawn from roughly 24 nationalities, follow a British curriculum from nursery through to Year 7, and the school holds Thai ONESQA accreditation.

Affordability is the headline reason parents give for choosing it. Annual fees run from THB 132,000 for a three-day half-day nursery place to 244,650 in Year 7, at the lower end of Bangkok's international range. Registration adds a one-time THB 50,000–80,000 depending on year group.

Families describe a warm, tight-knit community with a small, family-run feel, and one pupil said every child is known and valued. One former student credited the school with building academic foundations alongside creativity, grit and confidence.

  • Reviews describe a small, family-run feel, around 150 children from roughly 24 nationalities on the Ploenchit campus.
  • Parents repeatedly cite affordability. Fees are at the lower end of the Bangkok international range and parents on directories call this out as the headline reason for choosing the school.
  • The community is described as warm and tight-knit, with one student saying every child is known and valued.
  • One alumni review credits the school with building academic foundations alongside creativity, grit and confidence; this is the strongest endorsement on the public review pool.
  • The review pool is small and the directory ratings split, with one platform showing a five out of five from a handful of reviews and another a 3.7 from two, so the signal is thin rather than strongly positive.
  • No forum threads surfaced for the school, and there is no recurring negative theme on staff turnover, safeguarding or facilities in the public review pool.

Positives

  • Small, family-style school. Around 150 students across 24 nationalities, parents value the close community and known-by-name feel.
  • Affordability. Among the most affordable international schools in Bangkok and a key reason for enrolment.
  • Central Ploenchit location. Location on Ruamrudee Soi 1 cited as easily accessible.
  • Alumni outcomes. One former student credited the school with academic foundations, creativity and confidence.

Considerations

  • Review pool size. Small public review pool with split scores across directories, signal is thin.
