Singapore Korean International School has served a mainly Korean expat community from Singapore's Bukit Timah education belt since 1993, teaching around 350 pupils aged 3–18. The Korean Nuri curriculum sits at the core, elementary pupils follow Cambridge International Primary, and American AP courses also feature in the programme. The school holds recognition from the education ministries of both Korea and Singapore, and Yoo Sam-mok was appointed its 12th principal in August 2024.

Reviews describe small classes of around 15 to 20, personalised teacher attention, and after-school tutoring for elementary pupils who fall behind. The trilingual offer in Korean, English and Chinese is the main draw for non-Korean families, and a small number of parents report a positive experience for non-Korean children.

Annual fees climb in steps from SGD 10,319 at kindergarten to SGD 19,222 in high school, with a one-time admission fee of SGD 2,440.

  • Parent commentary online is light. The school serves a mainly Korean expat community in Singapore's Bukit Timah education belt, with the Korean Nuri curriculum at the core and Cambridge International Primary at elementary level.
  • Reviews describe small classes (around 15 to 20), personalised teacher attention and after-school tutoring for elementary pupils who fall behind.
  • Trilingual offer in Korean, English and Chinese is the main draw for non-Korean families; a small number of parents mention a positive experience for non-Korean children.
  • No active Reddit or English-language parent forum discussion surfaced; most online detail comes from directory listings and the school's own communications.

Positives

  • Class size and support. Small classes and after-school tutoring for struggling elementary pupils.
  • Trilingual programme. Korean, English and Chinese instruction draws some non-Korean families.

Considerations

  • Korean-curriculum focus. Built around the Korean Nuri curriculum; primarily serves Korean expat families.
  • Online visibility. Limited independent parent commentary; relies on directory and school content.
