International Schools in Seoul

Ages 3-18 · IB · Songdo · ~800 students

Chadwick is the right school if you are based in or near Songdo and want a full IB continuum in a well-resourced, California-affiliated setting. The fees are the highest in this guide; the Incheon location rules it out for most central Seoul families unless you are specifically relocating to the Songdo International Business District.

Asia Pacific International School Kuala Lumpur is a British curriculum school operating in Malaysia's capital city. With limited public information available, it appears to maintain a lower profile compared to established Kuala Lumpur international schools like ISKL or Alice Smith School.

SIS is the right call for academically ambitious families on the American track who are willing to base themselves in or near Seongnam. YISS is the best fit for Christian faith families wanting a large, community-focused American school with competitive sport and a central Seoul location. If Christian ethos is not a priority for your family, look first at SIS or Dwight before deciding.

Dwight is the clear first choice if the IB Continuum matters to you and you are based in Mapo or Sangam. The full four-programme pathway from nursery through Diploma in a single school is rare in Seoul, and the 2025 average of 34 - well above the global norm - backs the academic promise. If you are in Gangnam or Seocho, weigh the commute carefully.
